The House System
House activities are very important dimension of what makes a school a place where a student can achieve to their academic potential and develop a well rounded human being who is able to cooperate in and contribute to our society. It helps to develop a mechanism to review school spirit on a regular basis so that the part it plays in achieving the school’s mission can be used to the best effect.
Traditionally the main vision of the House System is to develop unity, team spirit, and discipline in their lives. It became a good platform for the students to show their curiosity, creativity, honesty, sincerity, persistence and dedication which symbolized high values.
It aims at developing oneness, a sense of responsibility and to feel for one and all of their house and it had proved to have done it successfully all these years.
One of the aim of this system is to develop a stronger school spirit where each one can display devotion and affection for one’s school by building a stronger relationship, giving a voice and thereby creating a better system for improvement by performing both in scholastic and non-scholastic areas. So that it can become fun and unforgettable experience for them.

SONAI KAZIRANGA ORANG MANAS
Each house has got an animal and a colour as the symbol of the house.
There are four In-charges to lead the four different houses. They are known as the House Masters. The House Masters are selected from among the teachers. They assist the House Incharge in the different activities of the houses.
The captains of the four Houses are selected from the students of class XI and the vice captains are selected from class X.
Every class has got four monitors for the four houses.

This helps them to develop their creative potentialities and also their confidence. Sports week highlight the importance of sportsmanship and helped in developing the best of competing spirit of a young player. Apart from the Display Board each and every student realized that they gain scores for their house on their activity too and started refusing any kind of negative activity and instead developed the art of socializing and working for the better name of the house as a larger goal and developing values as the immediate goals.
Manas House aimed at developing oneness, a sense of responsibility and to feel for one and all of their house and it had proved to have done it successfully all these years. Besides the usual activities, some more ways of house activities is by introducing-script writing, photography, charity drive and organizing some special weeks like-Math’s week, Science week, Hindi week etc. Merits point for behavior and academic achievement may also be totaled up for comparison between the houses.

HOUSE SYSTEM IN MODERN ENGLISH SCHOOL:
The students of this school are divided into four houses. At the time of enrolment to this school the students are assigned to a house balancing the numbers of each house. Once a student is allocated to a house, he/she becomes the member of that particular house throughout the years he/she remains in this school.STRUCTURE
