How do toddlers spend a day?
8:15 am - Welcoming children and parents, free time
8:45 am - Morning Assembly
9:00 am - Warm Up exercise & Rhymes session
9:15 am - Toilet Time
9:25 am - Literacy skill & guided Reading session
10:00 am - Art & colouring/Outdoor games/songs and music session
10:20 am - Numeracy skill
11:00 am - Toilet, drink, snacks - topic based discussion
11:15 am - Indoor play and storytelling/Club activity-dance, sports, Music & Art
(Term wise i.e. students from different classes will attend the club according to their choice and it may change also according to the term)
12.00 pm – Tidy up time
12.15 pm - Departure for both Bus and other children.
In Literacy skill we focus on Pre-writing strokes wherein they practise the different type of lines and curves for better hand-eye coordination and firm grip on the pencil which make writing of alphabets easier for the little ones.
In Alphabet we will
• Identifying, reading and practising sounds of alphabets from Aa to Hh.
• Writing of alphabets of both uppercase and lowercase from Aa to Hh.
• Learn to name objects related to each letter and speak about it confidently.
• Encourage to listen, communicate and speak effectively with peers and teachers.
Numeracy skill we will initiate with Pre-mathematical concepts for
• Comparing, estimating, differentiating objects as same and different, big and small, tall and short, few and many, up or down, heavy and light on the basis of similarity and differences.
• Developing number recognition and understanding numbers upto 20.
• Count, write and colour objects upto 20.
• Observing, comparing and completing the pattern.
• Identifying, matching, naming, sorting and colouring the shapes namely square, triangle, circle, oval.
• Match objects with its corresponding shape.
• Knowing different parts of body.
• Identify, name and realise the importance of different family members.
• Talk about their special day i.e. their birthday
In Physical Education we will spread awareness about importance of healthy body through activities like
• Physical balance for improving balance.
• Target games for confidence and coordination
• Fun with the trampoline
In Art and Colouring we will be engaging our students in
• Scribbling and colouring on different type of textures.
• Preparing artworks of fruits and vegetable using Vegetable printing.
• Exploring their creative skills by Paper printing & spray painting
